Vermont Specialities and Fall Foliage Tour
October, 2008
jam We got our Christmas Shopping done early and visited historic Stowe and Waterbury, VT for Vermont Specialty foods and gifts. On the way over we enjoyed the last of the fall foliage, then visited the newly renovated Green Mountain Coffee Roasters café and visitors center, shopped at the Cabot Creamery Annex, Vermont Teddy Bear, Lake Champlain Chocolates, and Snow Farm Winery’s tasting corner, and stopped at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill for a tour, free samples, and a visit to their expansive gift shop full of delicious apple products and Vermont crafts. We went to the Trapp Family Lodge for a delicious lunch buffet spread, followed by a Trapp Family history tour and The Real Maria documentary film. Before heading home, we stopped at Ben and Jerry’s for a quick factory tour, a sampled their flavor of the day, and bought some ice cream from the scoop shop.

Washington, DC

Forty-four FAN Club members enjoyed a four-day trip to Washington, DC in June. Everyone had a fabulous time and we’re all looking forward to more FAN Club adventures.

Historic Bennington, VT
August, 2006

In August 2006, 45 FAN Club members enjoyed a day exploring the sites of Bennington, VT. We started the day with a wonderful (and educational) tour of the Bennington Museum. Lunch was a very tasty treat at a local favorite, Alldays and Onions. We had a guided tour through Bennington Potters and the pottery factory, which of course ended in the gift shop. Needless to say, many brought home a lot more than they came with! We were also able to see the Bennington Monument briefly before we went home.

A group of FAN Club members relax on a bench outside the Bennington Museum while waiting for others to finish in the gift shop.

New England Flower Show

We traded in a day of mud season brown for flower show brilliance with a day at the New England Flower Show in Boston. The theme this year was "Welcome Home! Celebrating Our Great New England Landscape."

Amish Country
May, 2003

This past May the FAN Club took a trip to the Amish country, Gettysburg and Hershey, PA. We had a wonderful time. The weather was fantastic and the times we shared were memorable. Please take a look at a few of our favorite moments.

The FAN Club members are drawn to our guide's way of sharing his passion of Gettysburg and the battle that changed our Nation.
