Multifactor Authentication - A New Level of Security.

Passumpsic Savings Bank is proud to deliver the highest level of security for our internet banking customers. We’ve created an additional layer of security to our log-in process that will ensure your information is secure, protecting you from fraud and identity theft.

You will automatically be prompted for more information during your initial log-in to Passkeybanker. You will be asked to:

• enter your email address
• enter a pass phrase for the randomly selected authentication image that appears
• select and answer 3 challenge questions (remember your questions & answers)
• identify if you are using a personal or public computer.

Note: Only register personal computers that you frequently use and are not available for public.

That’s it. The next timeyou log in, you will be recognized and your private image and pass phrase will appear.  Once logged on, you can change your image and pass phrase.

Special note: When logging in from computers other than the one you enrolled on or when logging in from other locations, you will be asked at least one of the challenge questions you created at the time of your initial log-in.  

The next time you log in, the system will recognize you and display your private image and pass phrase. If they match your private image and pass phrase, then enter your Password and click submit. If they do not match, do not enter your password. Start over or contact the bank for assistance. Once logged on, you can change your image and pass phrase.
