Coronavirus 2020

Posted May 22,2020
As the economies in our regions begin to open their doors, Passumpsic Bank is also planning the next steps. Following Governor Scott’s executive order directives, we will be approaching this in a cautious and measured way to ensure the safety of both employees and customers alike.

Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, limited in-branch appointment only service will be available. All employees will wear approved cloth or surgical face masks while in customer contact areas. Customers will be required to wear an approved cloth or surgical mask, so we ask everyone to please plan accordingly. All State and Federal safety guidelines will be followed.

  • Drive-up service is available at all of our eleven branch locations and can handle all transactions with the exception of safe deposit access.
  • We do encourage customers to continue to use this service.
  • If you do have a banking need that can’t be taken care of at the drive-up, please call Customer Support at 802-748-3196 or toll-free at 1-800-370-3196 during regular business hours to set up an in-branch appointment with one of our bankers.

Over the coming weeks, Passumpsic Bank will be expanding services. General lobby access is tentatively scheduled for early June. This date is subject to change as the situation with COVID-19 may warrant. More details will be provided soon. Our goal is to help everyone be safe and healthy as we enter the next phase of our State opening back up for business. We are here for you.

On May 15, 2020, Vermont Governor Phil Scott signed Addendum 14, A Be Smart, Stay Safe order to extend the State of Emergency to June 15 and update previous emergency orders to reflect re-openings and eased restrictions announced in recent weeks. State data and modeling indicates the spread of COVID-19 continues to slow and Vermont now has one of the lowest 3-day and 7-day growth rates in the country.
