Passumpsic Bank Annual Meeting Recap
4/28/25
Community-Centric Vision
Our annual meeting was by all counts a resounding success, and we appreciate our corporators and team members who were there to share in the successes of 2024. The evening highlights also included the unveiling of our new mission statement, and a sneak peak into our vision for Passumpsic Bank’s future!
Among those addressing the gathering were our President and CEO Jim Kisch, CFO Rich Lyon, and keynote speaker Brandon Oliver, Principal at Boston-based BankTech Ventures. For those who weren’t in attendance, we want to share some highlights of the meeting, the vision, and all the good things to come!
Connectivity fueling Passumpsic Bank’s mission
“Connection” was the theme of this year’s event and it’s a term that has great meaning for this organization. It inspires everything Passumpsic Bank offers to our customers and does in our communities. The idea of connecting with our customers and communities aligns with our mantra that we strive to be wherever our customers need us, through every stage of life, whatever their next adventure might be (even out in the wild!).
As a community bank, we work diligently to live up to that responsibility at every touchpoint. At the annual meeting when Jim Kisch said, “As a true community bank, we want to be a trusted financial partner and an organization that individuals, families and businesses can count on,” it resonated with everyone in the room. That connectivity is part of what makes Team Passumpsic so successful, and played into the spirit of our new mission statement.
We invite you to watch a video highlighting our new mission statement here.
Enhancing customer reach and experience
Connection is also a big part of our plan for the future as we look to expand Passumpsic Bank into new territories, as well as relocating our Berlin branch to a more customer-convenient location.
“We feel we have something unique to offer, and will continue to serve people who are ready to connect, ready for innovation, and ready for what comes next,” Kisch said.
We are partnering with innovators who are working with us to enhance our knowledge and skills, as well as provide our customers with digital banking experiences that will be easier, more intuitive, and more enriching. That includes Oliver, whose presentation, “Bridging Competitive Gaps and Increasing Moats with Technology,” gave our audience valuable insights into how emerging technologies can enhance customer and employee experiences, driving ROI and innovation throughout organizations, and more.
Yes, Passumpsic customers will have new and exciting access to more tools, resources, knowledge and expertise, digitally and in-branch. But make no mistake, the common thread will continue to be the personalized service we are known for, because that commitment is just who we are. The future is bright for Passumpsic Bank. We’re excited to start our next adventure.
