Passumpsic Bank announces Roena Whitehill’s retirement

St. Johnsbury, VT . . Jim Kisch, President and CEO, Passumpsic Bank announces that Roena
Whitehill, Executive Vice President and Head of Lending, will be retiring from the Bank on May
31st, 2024 after more than 21 years of dedicated service. Roena joined the Bank in 2003 as a
Commercial Loan Administrator and then was promoted to a Commercial Lender before
transitioning into the role as Head of Lending in March of 2016 and promoted to Executive Vice
President in 2019.


“Roena is known for her relentless focus on credit quality and selfless dedication. Her
contributions have been instrumental in maintaining a healthy and balanced credit portfolio,
ensuring financial stability throughout a variety of economic circumstances, including the
pandemic. Roena has been committed to providing a customer-centric community banking
experience. I deeply respect her broad experience, credit expertise and business acumen.” said
Jim Kisch.


Roena has been a key member of the leadership team, overseeing a number of successful
strategic initiatives. Roena and her team have evolved all the components of the lending
operation and service to compete in this sophisticated era and beyond.
Roena will continue to be an active member of the LSC Foundation, St. Johnsbury Athenaeum
Board and Corporator for Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. She is looking forward to
gardening, spending time with friends, family and kayaking.
